Just popping in here to say, “Yey!” I’ve completed week 4 of my 6 week plan.
Sessions now involve 35 to 45 minutes, if you include warmup walk and cool-down walk, and all interval walks.
I like this quickly ramping up plan! Might not be a good one for unfit or beginner runners, but perfect for impatient fit runners coming back from a break!
Take your time, our runs wait for us. And I can’t believe I’m saying this, but running …. it is actually easier to do too much of it and too fast , rather then to slow down enough, increase only gradually, or leave enough time for recovery.
Patience is something we all need, whether we’re on the IC, building up again, or running on! Right?
