Hi, I ran my first 5 K through the Ct25 app on Friday. This morning I was all set to start something from the Nike app but in the end did a repeat of day 3 week 8 from C25 just to make sure I could do it again haha.
I’m thinking I’d like to stick with that run but just vary the route for a while until I feel I need something new.
Are there any downsides to that?
Thanks is advance people

Congratulations on your first 5k(s). Just doing this run a few times is a good strategy. Once you feel confident I'd suggest varying routes, durations and distances run. This is where the NRC app can be really helpful.Enjoy your future running! 😁
🍏🙌 ytsrik Nothing wrong with that at all.. consolidating is good. If you explore the NRC app there are many 30min single guided runs (& 5 10 15 20 etc) to keep you going. You don’t need to follow any specific plan.
The wonderful and challenging thing about finishing Couch to 5k is there’s no one right way to keep running! The key thing is to be sensible with building (the app has good advice) and keep enjoying yourself! What you’ve decided on sounds great. You’ll know when you’re ready to try something different…and even that’s only if you want to!
Well done...great strategy. The consistency of three-day/week running is great! As someone says, by the time you've done this for a while, you'll be ready to explore...
