Saturday is my solo run day, but this morning I just wasn't feeling it. However, I laced up my shoes and decided that I'd mix it up a bit and put my earbuds in and off I went. My earbuds just refused to connect to my phone. I thought they would connect any minute so I just turned up the volume, getting lots of looks from people in the village. At the 0.5k point I stopped and got them connected, off I go again. Someone is hedge trimming and they're blocking the full width of the road, so I squeezed past and continued on my way. Further along I was passed by an irate car driver who had apparently been following me. Had he forgotten where the horn is? I reached 2.5k and decided to turn around. Got to about 3k and the app announced that it had lost GPS. Never mind, I'm wearing my Fitbit. When I got home I found that my Fitbit had lost GPS also, so I've no idea how far I ran, but despite everything it was a lovely run!
What a day!: Saturday is my solo run day, but... - Bridge to 10K
What a day!
Good run for you today Archerygoddess despite loseing that GPS signal, always a bit annoying when that happens, if you can get a fixed route somewhere then it doesn't matter too much as you know where the various 1K points are. I ran a short 3K this morning in heavy rain instead of going to parkrun, no idea what my time was but I knew exactly when to stop at a lamppost which I knew was the end of my 3K run.
🍏🤩I love that in spite of the frustrations you carried on anyway and had a good run. I know those looks 👀 when my Bluetooth gadget doesn’t connect with my hearing aid 🤣 Every one hears everything at full blast & I can’t hear a thing!! Well done 👏
Tech is so weird sometimes! Really glad you had such a great run despite all the trickiness! ❤️
