Wasn't sure when I set iff whether I would just do 4k this morning or go for the 8k, decided to go off at about 7 mins /km, soon sensed that I would be going for the longer distance, it wasn't too hot and I was mainly in the shade, a couple of difficult bits on very sandy trails in the forest BUT...
Today I really felt like a runner, actually enjoyed the feeling if keeping going, so much so that the 8k turned into 9 and sprinted the last 100m.
A number of firsts, 9k, running for over an hour and most importantly I enjoyed it.
Happy running everybody ππββοΈ
