NRC run beyond plan day 1

Good morning runners!Today I started the run beyond plan on NRC, finding running on my own without coaching and a plan a little difficult.

I chose the 25 min day 1 recovery run and decided to do it properly and jogged slowly.

I found the slow pace enjoyable, it was 6am and still dark, the streets were quiet with only the odd dog walker around. (3 worse for wear young lads staggering home from a late night too 😂)

The 25 mins listening to Coach B was very welcome, I've missed that guy!

Breezed through the run and decided to continue on at the end and do the extra 1.5k to complete an enjoyable 5k.

Slowed to a walk after that and did a 2k walk to get my steps to 10000 before breakfast 😁

Really enjoyed it! Photo dosnt do the spooky fog justice 😂

Nice early morning run for you Jericho2332, good photo too, sometimes I go a early morning run around a loch not too far from where I live and occasionally there is a mist over the water just like that photograph, not a thing you would see in the middle of afternoon, 10,000 steps, congratulations. 😊 ✔️✔️

Wow, but that is some gorgeous photo!

And we both were running to Coach Bennett’s coaching today! Woohoo!

Nice slow run!

Sounds like a dreamy run! I love those very slow runs...

And you rounded up...some of us were discussing the compulsion to round up our runs to a nice round number.

I'll look forward to investigating this plan on NRC when I'm off the IC.
