After deciding 15 minutes there and 15 minutes back would give me a half hour steady walk I set off, heading towards the beach. I quickly realised the beach was less than 15 minutes away so I'd get to see the sea. Cool and cloudy this afternoon, I covered just over 2k in half hour, came back a different way and got a bit lost π.
When I got home my legs felt as if they'd just run for half an hour, they are still.a bit weak but getting better

π Our beach skies look the same now but weβre sunny and lovely this morningβ¦ some of the reasons itβs a blessing to be at the coastβ¦ interesting changing seas & skies!
SO happy you managed so well! Well done after all you have come through itβs not the easiest to start back out again! So happy for you π₯°
π My recovery is complicated & will take some timeβ¦ fortunately appointments I have been waiting for all coming up in Octoberβ¦ hopefully have a better idea by the end of that month.. I walk every day whether I feel brave enough or not but always linked to Hubby My heart longs to run but have to walk first!!
How lovely. Nothing like a blast of sea air to change the day. Like you so lucky to live so close to the edge of the country. Glad you felt well enough xx.
Love the song thanks π it doesn't feel like I'm doing much and tiredness still beats me most days but looking back progress is huge, we shopped yesterday evening too and I slept better π
I was laid on my hotel bed the other weekend with my binoculars looking at the sea and beach and it changed literally every few minutes. It was early evening and the sea birds were arriving. Heavy rain, then so murky so I couldnβt see a thing but then the sun came out
I grew up in the countryside far from the sea but all my adult life I've been lucky enough to be close to the sea π I just love to see it every time I go out π
weβre as far from the sea as itβs possible to get so love it when we get the chance to visit. That first sighting of the sea still excites me π€π
I loved Scratby ! It was my fave place when we last holidayed over there. Gorleston is lovely π₯°. We had a meal there in a seafront restaurantπ We picked up fish n chips there too before driving on to Carlton Colville to see old friends. Interesting area! I loved Lacons museum π
Excellent progress Sue! πͺ Your getting a bit lost made me smile as I managed to lose my sense of direction on my run yesterday on familiar local roads! Mustβve been something in the air! π€ It turned a 30 minute run into nearly 40 minutes In torrential rain. I had to peel all my clothes off directly into the washing machine on my return. Absolutely loved it though. Xx
I was lucky and missed most of the rain, all roads lead from the seafront to home but some of them go the wrong way π€£π€£π€£, I really enjoyed being out and about and feeling stronger xx
π. I put my running gear in the washer too yesterday with a small amount of non-bio. Moments later my kitchen was engulfed in suds heaving out of the machine π it took numerous draining and rinsing to do my laundry. Gawd βelp us π
Maybe non-bio is not for an automatic washing machine. Not sure as I didnβt read the blurb I only put a bit in π. It took loads of rinses for the suds to clear Dratted thing π
