Last nights sky and todays run

I’m getting a bit boring aren’t I? Run swim repeat, this is day 6

Jo came with us today, just a 15 minute run along the path at the top of the beach.

Who should come lolloping in the other direction but our bosses boss, didn’t realise it was him until the last second then we turned and I watched him run ahead. He looked like he was running very slow just plodding along so I sped up to see what pace he was doing……. ha ha ha 6mpk and I couldn’t quite catch him and gave up, our 15 minutes were over so we brisk walked and he ran back, quick stop to say hi, he’s re doing C25K after quite a break from running but I’ve always been in awe of him as he’s run ultras.

Back on beach, swim then a phone call from work meant I had to go back for a while, cut the sit on the beach short and made dinner a bit late but alls well.

He did my job 20 years ago so understands it which is good. He was really fast and just looked so slow, I’m loving the heat and the sea is bliss but it’ll be nicer to run when it’s a bit cooler

Sometimes I see people up ahead of me who appear from a side street or something - they look pretty slow at first but they always disappear into the distance! 😊

I think it’s probably long legs, I can run faster but not for long but i see people looking like they are putting in no effort but there’s taller and there’s younger so i’d expect them to run faster. (anyway, I know a lot of his work is from home with online meetings, whereas mine is on the move a lot lol)

Aaah that's the life ☺️ you're running (and swimming!) every day, that's just so impressive! What a beautiful sky. I need to get down to the seafront one of these evenings, I love watching the sunset from the beach 🌇

It was stunning, we went down to watch the moon rise but sun set instead, it was a great day yesterday, today had to be fitted in after work

Thanks, I don’t usually post every day but then i don’t usually run every day, I keep thinking I’ll take a day off and that might be today, I want another swim though lol, I do miss regular swimming in the pool but i can’t be bothered to book a slot
