A race against time!

Willow picked me up from work because my car was in the garage, I'd said to him to encourage me to run, we turned out of work the sky was ablaze, some puffy clouds, gold, red, glowing and stunning.Quick, I need to get home, get changed, get out, Willow said "we've got to go to the garage at 5pm" so much for encouraging me!

Only half an hour, and off I went, warm up walk, run, faster than usual to get to the beach before dark, walk, run, reach the main road and oh 🥺 it's gone, I look around, the clouds that were ablaze with colour are now on the other side of the sky with a tinge of pink.

So I run on and watch the sky change, it looked a bit ordinary but was getting brighter, I nearly got to the beach, I took photos across the lake, turned and ran back, intervals of fast as I can go and brisk walk, apart from the most stunning sky, what I noticed on this run was... . My brisk walk is brisker, and my fast as possible goes on longer, so I'm celebrating getting fitter. Strava gave me a PR for one section of the run

Today was supposed to be a quick 10 minute slow run after yesterday's run but I just couldn't help myself, I ran like the devil was after me just for fun and you should have heard me say the long sentence on one breath 🤣 tomorrow better be no more than 10 minutes..

I stopped at the top f the railway bridge on the way back and took the photo

Got home, 3.64k in 35 minutes, not fast but I have some lovely photos .

Went to pick my car up from the garage, still in running kit, still bright red of face and grin wide .

Keep running, keep smiling and run happy 😊

Another fantastic and motivating post, thank you! I’ve just walked in the door from a seven day trip -3 in London (for fun) and 4 days in Poland for work. I really need this inspiration to get me our running tomorrow and then a park run on Saturday 🏃‍♀️

Ten minutes is enough if you don't have much time, I'm planning to run every day even if it's very short, some days will be short recovery

Super Sola; great determination and pace. You have reminded me that I am on duty with Mrs BC’s car on Monday and Tuesday!! 😬

Well I hope it doesn't cost as much as mine did, I needed the run to get over the price

🤞….she doesn’t do many miles in her car ( she borrows mine sometimes 😤) Hopefully it will be ok.

I do a Mike a day to work and a mile a day home again, but the brakes have been getting sadder and sadder for almost a year, it was time to do something about it

Brakes create a hole in the wallet pocket! Have to be done though.

That sunset was well worth running to catch a photo this evening SueAppleRun . We saw it as we returned from local shopping.

It was the best time of day to be out

oh what fun! (But not the car obviously!) It’s exhilarating to run really fast…if only for short bursts!

South coast had best of weather today…we had thick fog and in-laws in Kent had rain. Daughter in Hove gloated on our family group chat about the sun!

That 'i'm just gonna run as fast as I can' feeling is the best! The south coast definitely had the best weather yesterday, set off from Brighton in lovely sunshine, totally overcast and gloomy by the time we reached the Dartford Tunnel 😠

We were lucky, it's been good today too but clouded over by the time I got out of work

It was grim here in the far east (of England), enjoy the sunshine while you can :)

It clouded over when I went for a short run but it's cleared again, let's hope it gets better where you are

The car is fine now and I'm confident it'll stop in a hurry if I need it to. Yesterday's run was more fun than today's and the sky was brilliant
