Quest week 2.
This week I decided to follow the Speed Podcast in the C25KPLUS+ podcast series.
Paying more attention now to my warm up period, I set off on my usual circular run of about 3km. Wondering if I would complete it in any less than my usual slow run time, now not including warmup/down, of 30 minutes.
There are two versions of each of these podcasts, one has a full introduction, one is just the bare bones music and instructions. I did Stepping Stones, so being blasé, I chose no intro.
Came as a surprise, just over half way through, Laura is telling me ‘well done, now walk five minutes’. I was a Km from the end of my run let alone the walk too. So I wound it back and repeated some to fill my self allotted time.
So for next time, I will listen to the intro version, work out halfway and do ‘out and back’. Trouble is it is downhill all the way to the beach, and uphill all the way back!
Then again how does Laura know I live near the beach?

Laura says run to the beach!
