A little run with my grand daughter such a pleasure.

Well I’m back after a 10 week break due to illness I finally felt well enough to try a little bit of running. My grand daughter decided she wanted to join me which I though was lovely. She’s 6 years old and an absolute joy so I trotted down to her house and used W1r1 for her to join in. We had a good old chat during the warm up and then we ran the 6 x 60 second runs. She found it a bit of a struggle towards the end so we did a bit of jeffing too. But it was lovely 🥰. I think she enjoyed it 🤞she wants to join me next Sunday. It feels great to be back and I’m looking forward to my next run which probably won’t be till Thursday. Happy running everyone

Sorry about your recent illness Scruff55, how lovely for your 6 years old grand daughter in running with you for run 1 of week 1 of C25K, once you re-graduate from C25K you could run with her at junior parkrun.

Yes it was a lovely little run with the sun rising too. Hopefully she’ll keep wanting to come with me at least on a Sunday. Not too sure if she’ll make the runs through the week though but never mind at least she’ll be getting some more exercise.

Such a great post, lovely that you were able to run with your granddaughter, I bet she writes about that in her school journal! Good for you getting back in the saddle too 👍 Happy running 🏃‍♀️
