Well after more than 3 months of no running for various reasons I decided that today was the day. Woke up early and couldn’t get back to sleep so I took that as a sign 🤔🤔. I was up and out in a flash. (Did my stretches first though🤣🤣).

decided to try W1r1 just to see how my chest felt After 3 60 second runs I was feeling fine so I decided to run through the walking parts too meaning I was running for 3 minutes plus. Did 2 of these and now back home feeling quite elated a long way to go but a start is a start and I’ll take that atm.

Happy running everyone or heal well.

It can be all too easy to slip into non running mode, so well done for getting out there. Good idea to take it gently to begin with, and hang on to that feeling elated mode, it will get you out next time too.

O I don’t need motivation my mojo is raring to go it’s been a chest infection and a problem with my heel that’s stopped me. But onwards and upwards 🤞🤞🤞

Thank you 🙏Yes so am I although my heel is still niggling a bit but I’m just going to take it easy and then go to physio if it carries on.

Isn't it great to just get out there when you've been away from it for a while? Especially when you run and nothing hurts :)
