Another peaceful but hot run

An earlier start and a new route today along a coastal road with a few more inclines. Not a single other runner out and I only saw two ladies walking with long poles. No traffic either; it was so quiet apart from the birds chirping their hearts out.

I chose a 5k guided run with Coach B who kept my mind off the heat and the uphill sections, though it was tempting to stop at 4k-23 degrees and I was sweating buckets! The sea looked so tempting but not an option as I was on my own. Beach trip this afternoon, with lots of wave jumping 😁☀️.

That sounds heavenly! It’s muggy out there at the moment and I arrived home from my run looking like a soggy tomato. Having Coach B along always provides a nice distraction!
