Quick run along the river with neighbour. We've had rain and storms but the sun came out. It's lovely running on the flat after the hills of the weekend. Run happy all

You are so right! It’s all hills round here so it’s like flying if I ever go somewhere flat. Great run. You’re flying at the moment! Lovely you’ve got your neighbour to run with too. I’d feel so lucky to have a coach like you!

She's really embraced walking and some running, she's on week 2 and will be soon running week 3, I remembered before when I ran hills then felt very fast on the flat, just got to keep it up now, keep running up the hills to get overall faster

I’m not long back from my run. Didn’t fancy a guided run so just did a short, hilly one. It’s amazing the difference that HM plan has already made. My last run was hill sprints and it was so chilled just gently running up the hills today. The Coach B knows what he’s doing! 😂😂

I bet you’ll notice some differences too-perhaps more comfortable at the same speed or mentally finding it less tough. That’s a real encouragement to keep going.

Yes the plan is making a difference, my Sunday run was off plan but needed, my legs feel much stronger and the middle kilometre was 8.49 mpk, I haven't done that pace for a whole kilometre for years. Kilometre 1 was 9.58 and the third was 9.02

I need a spare set of legs, longer ones would be good 😊

Nah. Just make these ones stronger and you’ll be fine. Small steps 👍💪

These'll have to do, but coming from a family of tall people I was always disappointed in my height, tall people run past me as if they aren't putting in any effort

You’re doing well, with the hills and the walking it will be helping your speed. Keep it up. 👏
