No,you haven't accidentally gone to the C25K page. I'm just so excited to have run for 30-minutes for the first time in 6 weeks!!
I chose one of my favourite routes, with wide open vistas and really enjoyed the feeling I of freedom you get when you're out running. I had to run past a large dog at one point and was a bit wary as he stared at me trotting past. I enjoyed passing some very chilled sheep a lot more! At one point, I got a bit excited because I was convinced that I had seen a woodpecker. But when I my starred in the direction it had flown the only birds I saw were two pigeons. ๐คฃ
Started listening to a really interesting podcast The History of English, I recommend it if that's your kind of thing.
Fitness wise, it was hard going, but I know it's still in there and I have to keep reminding myself, that I'm building up time running, not speed.
Hopefully, my legs will be OK tomorrow!
Happy running everyone!

Well done! And whether it is 30 or 300 minutes, the important thing is: you ran! I run 30 minutes during the week, only go longer in the weekend.
Woohoo ๐๐ bet you felt good ( and relieved too ๐)
Keep at it gradually and youโll be back to those long distances , waving to the IC as you ๐โโ๏ธ๐โโ๏ธ๐โโ๏ธ๐โโ๏ธ๐โโ๏ธ
Wow that view is amazing you certainly chose a great place for your 30 minute run. It sounds like you had a great time with your nature spotting, I bet that Woodpecker was just hiding behind the pigeons ๐
Congratulations on getting back out there. Woodpeckers are so hard to spot- many times I've heard them and know which tree they're on but still can't see them.
