10 km morning walk

Out for my early morning walk. First part of it was a bit boring walking beside main road for about 4 km , then I went past a loch and swans coming forward, must have thought I had breakfast for them. Then on for a further 2 km and went down by the riverside a bit more scenic and paths so dry, took photos and further along my route a lovely horse came across to the fence and I think again looking for breakfast . A bit more scenic than my boring 4 kms midweek, had to make up last three quarters of a km to 10 km and slow jogged around park. My time was 1 hour 38 mins . Back for brekkie. My usual porridge and fresh fruit salad. Yummy 😋

Enjoy the rest of your Sunday 😊

Lovely!

I’m still exploring walking gaits out and about, and am actually just beginning to understand where Joanna Hall is coming from. So thanks for the pointer.

Just annoying that so often that one has to dig through whole books or whole videos to find the three key things that lie at the heart.

It seems brevity is no longer valued… but 🤣🤣 I might have to check myself on that, considering my lengthy posts! 🤭🤣

A wonderful 10K walk for you this morning Doris8, that time of 1 hour 38 minutes is excellent, that's sub 10 minutes a kilometer for that length of time, I once walked that distance in the same time around our local 10K course although most of my 10K walks, usually in the winter months take around 1 hour 50 minutes, if I run 10K it averages 1 hour 12 minutes, I congratulate you on your walk today. 😊 🚶

Flipping awesome, what beautiful places you see on the way, and a little jog to finish off, perfect

Nice walk! Again, very fast compared to my walking, but I have short legs or something haha. With me it has all been a bit on a low my walking and running. Did do a short walk on Sunday to the beach and back. And yesterday turned my car into the shop for checking and stuff and walked back home. Was only 1,90 km, but meh it was something, haha.
