Birds woke me and alarm off so out door at 6.05 am . This is a wee bit longer walk. Was going to walk higher up than the village I walk . Brisk wind a wee bit cold but fresh. Nobody about, no cars which glad about as a bit windy roads . Took some pictures as attached, Went along the river when got down from the “heights” as it’s called and then back home by 7.30 am for brekkie. My time was 1hour13 mins. Happy running😊

Fantastic start to the day Lovely photos too!

Now that is eaaaaarly! But I guess it does feel nice to be out and about and active before most people. Nature is then also nice I guess, waking up and all. I would be starving though to be honest, me and food have this tight relationship, haha. But again, your speed! When I try walking at 5 km/h I nearly drop dead. Let alone at your 7 km/h or so speed. I need to run to get that speed and then even outdoors and not on the treadmill, because on the treadmill I can't reach 7 km/h running. Wish I could see a movie of you walking, very curious to be honest.

Hi yes it’s early up with the lark’s. I have attached photos of my time for walk. You will see the distance is 7.66 kilometres or in miles 4.76. I havnt walked at 7km/h. I walked at 9.33 min/k as photo and as Strava 15.23 min / mile. I have walked all the way. . I wouldn’t like people to think I am pretending and faking it . I have attached my times from yesterday Strava and Garmin

I am not disbelieving you, no worries. I threw your walk in an online calculator and so you walked at 6,3 km/h. Still very fast! On the treadmill I run 6,0 to 6,6 km/h. Yes, run 😹. Walking is between 3,0 and 4,8 km/h. Any faster and Icm running. I do keep wondering, thinking about your speed I see you speed walking. You know, the very wiggly walking which used to be an olympic sport? But I get sore legs just thinking about it. And again, I don't doubt you. On contrary, I actually envy you. You get much more mileage in a walk than me!

I walk at a similar, actually slightly faster pace to Doris8. I just look like anyone else out for a walk. I’m sure she does too. Some of us just have a naturally faster pace. I wonder if you’re over thinking this.

Look at those photos-stunning place! I’m impressed with anyone having done such a walk before most are up for breakfast. It looks like it was a great one.

No it’s not speed walking wiggly bottom type. just like a power walk . I would get funny looks if I walked like that. I meet a couple of people in the morning and they are walking about same speed as me , maybe it’s I’m getting fitter . I read Joanna hall “Walkactive” which is good on walking your posture etc . I haven’t changed my Strava to walk as won’t get the segments, just keeping it on run and edit the headline. Never changed Garmin as well I know you can, I know that I’m walking.
