Back to my walking again. Early morning 6.15 am. A bit nippy but dry needed gloves . My time was 1hour 27 mins . Not many people about, partner thinks I’m daft going out at that time just for a brisk walk but I’ve got so much to do before working week , at least my exercise done for the day. Lazybones still in bed on return. He can’t go out and return as pulled muscle on piriformis and very sore even when walking. Anyone have slipped rib syndrome think that’s what’s causing the rib pain and on back , so sticking to walking. Apprehensive about running again in case osteoporosis had something to do with it.
Have a good weekend ☀️🙂

Don't run until everything is OK, that was a nice walk you had this morning Doris8, but my goodness, 6.15am, its still dark at that time now, at least you enjoyed it, that's the main thing, I also went a walk this morning but I started it at 8.40 in bright sunshine, enjoy the rest of the day.
I once had to go to a physio because one of my brothers hugged me so hard he accidentally pushed one of my ribs out of place! It wasn’t painful but it was uncomfortable and after a week or so I knew something wasn’t right.
When I read your post, I thought of this immediately 😩
Could you see a physio to get your rib checked?
But well done on the walking, keeping moving when you can’t run is so important 👍
Not sure If I would get a physio. It feels like the rib at front of waist is slipping down, like one on top of the other, it’s hard to explain and it affects my back when it happens as well .mines is awkward to sit and when I put socks on bending forward , it round about the diaphragm area.
It's so quiet and peaceful first thing. I was out at 5.30, streetlights are on at that time now but headtorch still needed in the dark sections. The moon was a delight and lots of stars.
A walk is always a safe option and better than nothing and it really sets you up for the day.
Are you sure it's not some sort of hernia? 🤔 or do you think you did something that affects the ribs or have an issue with ribs already?
No don’t think it’s a hernia. Think ribs. Been feeling like getting squeezed really hard around ribs like a boa constrictor or bra getting tight for no apparent reason, and it might be connnected to the stress fracture on back due to osteoporosis, my back got a tiny bit curvature on it. Looked at costochondritis it causes similar symptoms.
In reply to walk yes it was beautiful and the sunrise with the hills so peaceful , needed torch at a part no street lights but ok apart from that. Thanks
