NRC Easy run

Have to start somewhere, so we parked by the park that looked busy, so walked beside the golf course, across the road and ran along the sea front. well I did, Willow went on to the beach and sat down I think his enthusiasm has left him.

So i ran easy, passed a few people going the other way and was passed by a guy gently running along and wearing a Triathlon tee shirt, sped up a bit but no way could i keep up.

I’ve been having problems with garmin and music so I reset mine yesterday, hmm my V02max after one 25 minute run is in the red so Poor and my fitness age is 58, it’s a starting point.

It was lovely and warm, shorts and a tee shirt, got back to where Willow sat on the beach, nope not there so walked alongside golf course and found him in the car.

Have a good Saturday all

Lovely photo and a nice run for you today Sola, perhaps you should try and get Willow to do more runs with you, his enthusiasm for running seems to have gone, at least perhaps get him to restart C25K.

Thanks Al, it’s a music problem I think, which I’ve sorted now 😀he really likes to run to music

Well done Sola. One minute we were running in bright sunshine then those clouds came over and the temperature plummeted.

Yesterday was lovely here and it wasn't too bad for Parkrun this morning but now it's raining :(

Lovely picture. It looks like rain with those dark clouds. Wish we had a beach near us and your weather is warmer than here. Think forecast rain sometime next week, my vegetables need a good soak. Nice run Sola .

Looks lovely. Running by the beach is something this Black Country lass can only dream of. A run is a run whatever Mr Garmin says.

Lovely photo and what a great place to run. I'm injured at the moment, and a bit frustrated with it, so just a long walk for me this morning and maybe a recovery run tomm.I can understand your partner's preference to running with music, confess I prefer it too, although as I live quite rural I have to keep the volume fairly low incase a stupid car decides to use the country roads as a racetrack, which unfortunately isn't that uncommon!

🏃‍♀️😡

Music gives us a huge lift, whether running or not, being injured is frustrating, hope you heal quickly 😀enjoy walking 🚶‍♀️

New more comfy insoles, really good supportive socks (never knew it would make such a difference), starting ball rolling on the underneath of my foot (with a spikey dog ball, but hey it works!) and just read another post that makes me wonder whether my laces are laced wrongly and too tight.Had a gentle run on Tuesday night with a community running group, only 6km and not too fast and could feel a slight pain but nothing compared to last week. So hopefully slowly with all the amendments it will help .🤞
