Fancy a walk along the river? I asked Willow, got to get him off the couch somehow!
I decided after yesterdays long slow run my legs needed a short sharp stretch, so a kilometer one way and a kilometer back, faster than lately.
It’s cloudy so must be cooler but didn’t feel it, lots of runners and cyclists passed going the other way, everyone returned my cheery good morning. turned and there was Willow so ran back to him, jeffed the last part, stopped the watch, walked back a bit and we crossed the bridge together. Very nice 😊

Nice walk for you today Sola with Willow, I hope both of you enjoyed it, yes you will need to get Willow off the couch, at least for walking as he at the moment doesn't want to run, I went a short bike ride this morning, I saw a lady who asked me, "not running today" I told her my running days are Wednesday and Saturday, bike ride day Sunday, she wished me well.
I didn’t realize I was going so fast but knew when I started breathing harder, I’m very protective of my lungs and mostly barely breath deeply on a run but have decided short and faster will help the longer runs go faster too, Willow really enjoyed his walk and even ran back a little way with me, I think he got despondent in the very hot weather
Good for u getting willow out even a short walk. As long as it’s exercise. I was out at 6.30 and. Kuldip have needed my gloves hands really cold , temperature was 8 degrees. , by the time I did my 8 km was warmed up. Not as quick today. Have a good relaxing rest of day.
That's brilliant, short and faster runs are a lot of fun and a good complement to the longer slower recovery runs 👍😊 it's been very muggy today so well done you and Willow x
Well done Sola! I love my couch - sometimes I need some serious prising off it but you obviously have the knack. It sounds like a lovely walk with a bit of Jeffing involved. It’s always fun to see other people out and about 😊👍.
