Hello everyone,
I hope you’re all doing great! I haven’t posted in quite some time, but during every run I word at least one post in my mind, promising myself to actually type and publish it. You’re like the Borg collective in my head :), a swarm of supportive voices, and I’m truly grateful for this!
After graduating C25K in September last year, I got through half of Juju’s Magic Plan, then November broke me with heavy rains and lots of work. The more runs I missed, the harder it was to think of running again. I felt guilty and tried not to think about it. Then I had a bad day in December, and how did I deal with it? I went for a run! Another lonely run in January, then in February I got up on the scales and woosh! Motivation comes rushing back all of a sudden! :))
I started the Magic Plan all over again, I already ran the 10k yesterday, but won’t apply for the badge until I actually finish the plan next week (hopefully! - I’m seeing a physiotherapist later today about a pulled muscle…).
There’s so many things I’d still like to say, but this is getting a 10k long post.
