Was starting week 6 of JJMP today & as usual decided to get the longest run out of the way first. Instead of 9k, ended up doing 10k!
Just realised, 4months back exactly to the date I started c25k on Boxing Day. Never ran before in my life and I would have laughed if someone had said 4months from then I will run 10k non stop.
When I started walking a couple of years ago, I collapsed when I returned from my first 10k walk in the local park. My legs just gave up. Took me a whole week to recover and I was walking funny for 3/4 days. And today I walked back 3k after completing the 10k run. Unbelievable.
My sister ran with me this arvo and as we were chatting, we missed the phone telling us its 9k and when I checked it was already 9.3k. She was like, lets just complete the 10k. i wasnt that tired and agreed. And 10k done just like that.
Woohoooo!!
I will still complete the plan and perhaps time to think..what next?
Any advise?
