After an aborted attempt last week due to watch failure 😅 I decided to have another go at a 10 Mile run today.
After my 5 min warm up walk off I went. As I jogged along I realised that even though my Samsung Health app was talking to me it wasn't telling me when I achieved each kilometre. Luckily the route I took I had run before so I could guess where I was up to 6K. After that I had to work out my Kilometres covered by the time I had run as I guessed I would be running at about 7.5mins a kilometre. I carried on running and eventually checked my mobile which I had set to record my run on Strava and I found I had done 12.4K. I just needed to run home on the 6K route and I would have achieved my goal of 10 Miles. Eventually I had covered 16.7K and found my legs were like jelly but hey I had done it. I can't tell you how happy I feel this evening as I sit resting after my mammoth run.
Ohh and how do I get my 10 mile badge please admin?

Aww I am sorry to her that you have been injured but hopefully you will be back running the longer distances soon but any distance is a great distance because sometimes just getting out is the important thing.
Congratulations on completing your first 10 miles run, post this on the Marathon and Support page and tell the administrators that you have ran your first 10 miles run.
