Brr it was a cold one this morning, I dont know if I am improving or not.
I did a warm up walk of 5 mins then set off jogging, didnt feel comfortable until I was 3k in dies it fet better I ask myself.
I saw a young girl comfortably jogging along see her most mornings she seems to just float on air with her pony tail bobbing up and down, we waved. Will I ever get like that I ask nyself she doesn't even appear to be puffing not like an old puffing Billy.
Back at my start point the gym heaved myself up the stairs and started my workout.
Home now feel good
Happy running

Well if you really are huffing and puffing doggytail , and not just being self-deprecating, you probably need to slow down.
You're most likely just being too hard on yourself though. Why compare yourself to a young girl? You're you. You don't need to be her. In any case, she could well be hoping she can run as well as you when she's your age. Happy running!
I posted because I can really identify with the comparing thing, and know from personal experience that it can actually work both ways, even when it seems highly unlikely.
Oh those young girls floating along, I usually speed up and try and keep up but never can do drop back to my snail pace, for me every run is a run further away than a zimmer frame 😀 so i don’t mind being slow, your run sounds good and gym after? flipping impressive
Would have loved to experience 'floating on air' even once in my running history, but I fear it is not to be! Can't believe you got out so early in winter......very frosty here.
That sounded great. I let the gazelles and cheetahs get on with it. I'm like a tourist in the Higlands - dawdling along, having a lovely time and pulling into passing places to let the speedy locals past. Actually your pace is pretty speedy compared to mine - I'd be puffing at that speed too!
