Finish at 3.30 though so can still run in daylight hmm 🤔 actually no i can’t as it was gone 4 by the time i got away.

Home, put dinner in oven, Willow says he ran yesterday so isn’t running today, I didn’t expect him to though, so, I’m going in my work leggings and tee shirt, can’t be bothered to change again as only just swapped my scrubs for them.

Music…. oh this is nice, start up NRC Celebration run, not sure I’ll manage the full 25 minutes, trot along the road and there’s a left turn, umm I wonder if that comes out somewhere or is a close, let’s go and see.

2 young lads are running in the opposite direction, we raise our hands as we pass and my mind wanders, where are they going? they aren’t in running clothes but then neither am I. Maybe they are going to their nans for tea and are late or maybe on a mugging spree ooo I imagine footfalls behind me and it’s dark down here…. a glance over my shoulder confirms i’m alone and it’s my feet slapping the wet pavement, i’m plodding on nice and easy and very slow but i’m happy.

Turns out the side road was and is a crescent and I come out by the main road after admiring the christmas lights on so many bungalows and houses, I run on over the railway bridge thinking how I used to have to walk the up bit, and although slow i kept running. Down the other side and about half way of the 25 minute run, on a bit further, more cars now and time to turn, oh I’d forgotten that i was going down and down so up and up not too steep and over the railway bridge heading for home.

right turn and away from the main road and traffic. 5 minutes from home and the run ends but I decide to carry on to get to 30 minutes.

Dark, slow, a big tired after work, but I ran with a smile and enjoyed being out round our local area and discovering a crescent 🌙 where I thought was a close.

I didn’t quite make it to the sea but it was dark anyway. I’m just happy I’ve now run 5 days in a row

Enjoy the rest of the week all

First of all let me tell you that I am now getting emails back again, they have been off since 24th December so I don't have to hunt for posts in the Healthunlocked Homepage.

Nice run for you today, although at 4pm it's getting dark, the good news is that we are all gaining a minute more daylight in the late afternoon, glad that you ran with a smile despite having had worked all day, running does release the stress of working.

Good Run after work, you must be exhausted, run with a smile Hiroaki Tanaka says in slow jogging, like you said enjoying it.

Well done for going out there after work (which can be verrry hard) and in the dark even! And congrats on the 5 days of running!

I hate when it's dark before you get out. Forces me to go urban instead of rural. Still, the nights are on the turn. Won't be long.

Think I’d be happy if it just stopped raining, looking forward to lighter evenings won’t be long
