Today the sun shone and the temp was a crisp 2°C, meaning I just had to put on my running shoes.
I did 3 circuits more or less around the outer roads of the holiday park. First 5 minutes felt a bit weird, my breathing was not ok. Upped my cadence and everything improved.
At one moment I passed a spot where they are renovating the bungalows and doing work on the greenery. Was just at that spot when they cut a big tree and let it topple with help of a crane. So I had to wait a sec to make sure it was safe to pass.
Saw 2 other runners, none greeted me (back). Kept running without really knowing where exactly I was, but as it is a fenced holiday park, I can't really go wrong anyhow.
Stopped 2 times to take pics, but my hand must have been shaking, as they are far from sharp. After 1:00:34 the 7K arrived and I stopped my Garmin. By pure luck I was not far from our bungalow and after a mug of hot coco I hit the shower.
It is not that big here, so for 7K I have to run about 3 times around, but the scenery is gorgeous. It all looks alike, but that makes I don't know where I am. And that makes it doesn't get boring. Though I wish I knew the roads a bit better, ended up in a dead end 2 times.
Nice run for you today Evy, apart from those dead ends, 7K seems to be your favourite distance as it involves for you a very nice 1 hour run, if you ran 10K that would be around 80 minutes, I do agree with you that running in lovely scenery is gorgeous.
Thanks, I do like 7K indeed. Don't run it often though, should do it more. On weekdays (when working) I always do 5K and in the weekend 0K. Maybe I should pull some more time in the week and do a 5 - 7 - 10...
Good running Evy. That distance 7k is proving to be a favourite for me at the moment. I feel as though I have achieved something without all the aches from a 10k.
Great scenery for you too 👍

Thanks! Hope to do a 10K in a day or 2 if the weather allows me. I honestly don't know how I feel physically after a 10K. Should pay more attention to how I feel. But 7K is a fun distance too. Maybe - depending how the 10K goes - I should try to do 5 - 7 - 10 every week...
Lucky you! Beautiful run on a lovely day! I am envious as it's dark, cold and torrential rain and wind! That combination is really a step too far for me to run! Love running in rain, but not a combination of all that!More lovely days and runs to come for us all I'm sure.
Well done Evy, I’m glad you had such a nice run. That’s a very atmospheric photo, the colours are lovely. 7k is a nice distance, and a mug of cocoa sounds delicious! 😊😊😊
Sounds like a lovely run for you in that break in the bad weather! I love running for an hour, it seems so neat and tidy. Just need some halfway decent weather to try it again myself!
Today (Wednesday) they promise also ok weather. But today is a non-running day. And after today it is rain rain rain. I do hope for a 2 hour break in the rain tonorrow or Friday for another run...
Good run for you Evy . It’s a good distance to run and to walk as well . Great colours on your photo, actually looks quite autumn but feels like winter and winter sun.
Your photo is lovely especially when I'm looking out at black clouds and pouring rain. 7k it's a great run and it's fun when you are not quite sure where you are but knowing that you can't really get lost.
Thanks! The 10K won't be for tomorrow. Just got back from a heavy and muddy 10K (and a bit) walk and my legs and ankles are complaining hard! So taking tomorrow a day of rest extra (though I would not call today restfull haha).
