After talking myself out of it yesterday I just fell out of bed and into my running gear this morning/ not giving myself chance to procrastinate. I DID however take time to do a quick foot massage in the spiky Pilates balls to try to loosen up my feet. Rachael, my instructor, suggested keeping the heel in the floor and the toes on the ball and then roll the forefoot so that first the little toe touches the floor and then the big toe. She said it might give me a bit more spring in my step.
Well I donโt know if that was it or not but I managed my 3 x 18 min runs this morning and felt so good I kept going for another couple of minutes to complete 7k. Furthest this year so far.
Nothing very eventful apart from that - just that route seems to be getting slightly easier now. Oh and the large rat than ran across the path in front of me when I was doing my cooldown walk #shudders. Really do not like rats and their horrible naked tails ๐คข

My cats bring in alsorts but thankfully no rats lately. When I lived nearer the park my boy cat used to catch rats regularly and leave them outside my front door for me. Huge great things and I had to praise him or heโd sulk for ages.
Congratulations on the 7k, I have found massage balls are good also, I have a lacrosse ball under my desk and often role my feet while on the computer ๐
Yay LL, that sounds encouraging. ๐๐๐โโ๏ธ Keep it up, including your spikey ball exercises (my dog loves spikey balls!), and youโll be springing along with no worries.
