Did my usual 2mile walk to the gym, met a friend I hadn't seen for a year who wanted to do 5k round the park. Great says I this will be my 3rd run.
After 2.5 he had had enough and went to work. I didnt want to go round the park on my own in the pitch dark so I went into the gym. All the treadmills were in use so I did 10 mins on the rowing machine then went on the treadmill.
0..7 done when the loo called, back on 1.8 when it stopped I had set it wrong, jogged on the spot while I set it again 0.8 done when it was time to go coffee was calling.
Does this count as my 5k or do I have to do it again on Saturday

That's a fair bit of exercise doggytail , well done!
However I personally wouldn't count it as your Magic Plan Week 4 5k run. Sorry, I know that's disappointing. For me there were too many interruptions and variations of activity, though others might disagree.
Your legs did the work so I would say it counts, if it will make you doubt yourself then do it again, it’s all good mileage to create stamina which you need for the longer runs
Think about this from a different viewpoint.Ultimately this is not just a tick list where you tick a box and move on (or don't tick the box and move on) .
It's about slowly and progressively building your strength and stamina to the point where you can achieve your goal with minimum risk of injury, in this case running 10K
Remember, the program is a guide !
Albeit a very good one !
The main thing is you are not pushing forward to quickly and you are sticking closely to the 10% rule
