I had already decided I would run this weekend, just didn't know which day !
Looking at the forecast on Friday evening made me decide I'd go on Sunday .
I fully intended to go early , well, around 7:30 but unfortunately I got up around 6:30, made a cup of tea and took it back to bed π
Up again at 8:30 and porridge for breakfast!
I started to look around on the forum and noticed I had a reply from Speedy60 in which she mentioned the interview with Eddie Izzard on runpod from last Christmas .
So I decided to download it to Spotify and listen to it on my run .
What a brilliant interview !
I would highly recommend it for those who may not have heard it, very inspiring!

I was out of the door at 09:50 as I needed to get past the memorial in the village before the 11 am 2 minutes silence !
I set the podcast going and started my watch and run at 10:00
It felt a nice relaxed and steady start as I listened to the interview and I soon found myself so emerged into the chat that I completely forgot about pace or distance.
I just plodded along happily listening and pretty much forgetting everything else apart from being aware that it was a lovely bright sunny morning and actually quite warm in the sun !
My 5k just passed me by without much thought !
A quick walk home brought me to the end of the podcast !
Stretches done and a big mug of tea !
Thank you Speedy60 , that was a great listen ππ
Happy running all !
