Haha, yes I don't recognise myself with all this gardening πThe run was enjoyable and comfortable enough, and I seem to have got over recent niggles now !
My hens are Rhode Island reds , I did have 3 but just 2 now, they lay nice big eggs of which I had 3 last night in a nice cheese and sweetcorn omelette π
Well done Ian! It looks glorious where you are. Glad you werenβt too stiff from the gardening work. I spent literally hours yesterday getting a stubborn plant out of a pot - the roots were like cement welded in, so Iβm amazed I got anywhere today! Hope the chickens were pleased to see you back π, and I bet the tea tasted great.
A nice sub-40 5k run - it looks a glorious day in the photos but you are right about that easterly wind! But it's surely warmed up a bit by the time it reaches you! We get the full fresh effect here π₯Ά
Sounds like a perfect Sunday run. Love the cottage. Donβt see much like that here in London, but I had a sunny run along the Thames towpath yesterday for an hour π
Sounds like a great run and almost the whole route to yourself - lovely. Glad you had good weather too - it's was really cold here yesterday and today - a cold, cold wind and no sun.
Yes it was good , there was just over 1k that's on a busier part but the rest of the run was quiet , enjoy your run hope you don't have that cold wind π€
My runs are similar once I'm through the village the tracks are often completely free of people. I used to live in North Kent where it was all busy roads or packed parks so I appreciate the space every time I go out.
Nice one. Lovely pics, I like the look of that house! I woke up stiff this morning and it impacted most of the run which was annoying. Glad it didnβt affect your run. I wonβt be doing that again!
I thought for a minute it was your house π and thought lucky you! We have a few thatched cottages in the village near where we live and I get cottage envy! π
Nice relaxed 5k by the sound of it Ian, well done π
Good of you to give the Zombies and Coach Bennett a day off, theyβd have appreciated that, probably all went out for the day together given the nice weather π π π
Yes it was relaxed not to be chased by Zombies πAnd my next run is a short one so maybe the NRC Fartkek run , or the 1 minute run depending how I feel π
You have to do the 1 Minute one Ian, itβs good fun, they did it for a laugh, itβs very tongue in cheek.....go on do it, see how far you can get in a minute, I sprinted when I did mine and was surprised the distance I covered.
