Please may I have my 10K badge? I completed 10k on Tuesday 16th November. I may have been asking for the badge on the wrong post…several times! Apologies 😆
I started to work from home again this week and took advantage of being able to run again during lunchtime in the daylight and ended up running my 1st 10k 😀.
I didn't realise there was a 60 minute badge! I managed that on Friday. The 10K is still on my radar but may be a month or two before I get there. Very happy though to have reached 60 minutes.
Hello damienair hope you're well. Please may I have my 10k graduation badge. I ran my first 10k today at the Wendover Woods Autumn Festival of running, although I did walk some of it as it was quite hilly terrain so does that still count? If not I'm booked to run a 10k race on 11th December on much flatter terrain so would hope to run the whole thing then. Please let me know.😊
Aw, thanks so much. That's very much appreciated. I'm determined to run the whole 10k at my next event. It's just that today was so hilly - 232m elevation gain to be exact. It was virtually impossible to run the whole thing for me and in fact most people in front of me were walking the inclines 🤪I managed to complete today's race in just over 74 mins which was just under a minute faster than I had estimated. So quite pleased with my first attempt!
Ah very well done. I ran a 13K Mountain race yesterday, there were loads of very steep sections which had to be hiked and walked. My legs are sore today 😁
Thank you. Well done on completing a 13k mountain race. That sounds really tough. Sorry to hear that you are feeling sore. Hope it doesn't last too long. One of my friends swears by epsom salts in a bath for muscle recovery afterwards! 😀
Had a great time running my PB 10k, encouraged by the Bright to 10 postings, in a few seconds over 67 minutes. Where next - perhaps 1/2 marathon but not quite tomorrow!😂
The 10k course I ran. Shiplake in a damp and cold November!
