W1R3

Went out with eldest grandson this morning, he has applied to join the navy so needs to get fit.

After 2k he was flagging can we stop says he, no catch me up says I 🏃‍♀️🤣

I would never in my life thought I would be saying that, thank you so much for all your encouragement on this forum.

The oops is, I saw that my run should have been 5.5 when I got home and not 6k woo hoo.

Oh and grandson managed with lots of walks in between soon caught me up though , he is 6'2 so didnt takehim long🤣

I think it was a shock to him🤣🤣

That must feel so satisfying, to be able to show a youngster what you can do. Well done!

At 6'2" he ought to be lapping you with ease when he's gone through his training.

Let me guess... did he have a spurt of speed at the beginning but couldn't sustain it, whereas you were keeping a steady pace that you were able to keep going throughout?

How lovely for you both. I hope to run with my grandson too when he’s old enough.
