Well I'm off to do my park run /walk.My 2 mile warm up walk to get there, then I do my jeffing.
After reading lots of posts I realise I am not recovering correctly still puffing and panting before my next run so today I will attempt to walk slower and lo and behold try to talk🤣
Thank you to all my friends in my phone for pulling me out of last weeks doldrums I'm getting there
See you after the run xx

Hope it went well DT....I have the same issue with my jeffing in that I try to keep up speed in my walk intervals.. rather than bring heart rate down.. I shall try harder to slow down next time. It has to be more beneficial for the running minutes.... I'm doing 4/2 currently.
I can’t remember if I’ve already recommended this so apologies if I have. A recent episode of Runner’s World podcast was talking about the power of the run/walk and it was really good. Thought if you. The details are in the image,
I am a complete Jeffing convert and I love it. I have found my times for 5k and 10k are the same or sometimes quicker than straight running. I vary my run intervals depending on how far I am going but the walk section Jeff recommends is 30 seconds so maybe that will help you recover better. Smooth transition is important too rather than stop start. Did my longest run recently Jeffing at 10/30, over 15km in just over 2 hours. Hope this helps 😀
Such a good point and was the biggest mistake I made with C25K (I think perhaps the emphasis on 'brisk' walk is unhelpful, but I should have known because the whole reason I was doing C25K was because brisk walking was a problem for me!)
