Hi lovely running friends, I went out for my final long run towards my GSR training this morning. The route was a mixture of roads, paths, sand, gravel, shingle and grass. I stopped from time to time to take photos while we’ve still got some sunshine and the 10th and 11th km were on shingle so the time wasn’t too bad overall. It wasn’t really about time anyway, just getting round without injury😀👍. I managed that so I’m sure I’ll be fine on the big day! I’ll just do some short runs, intervals and cycling between now and then, and possibly some Parkrun volunteering too 🏃♀️🏃♂️🏃♂️🏃♀️
Happy running everyone 😃👍

What a good run, wasn’t it perfect for running this morning? I did a much smaller loop some miles east of you and the breeze off the sea stopped me overheating, enjoy your shorter runs and cycling
Well done David, the surface should be a bit smoother on the big day - apart from those cobbles, that is! My final 14k was on Monday - all ok thank goodness.
