Hi all, hope you’re all managing to get out there for at least a bit of exercise now Lockdown 2.0 is with us🏃♀️🏃♂️👍
I ran 10K for Mo-Running along the seafront at Bognor Regis on Saturday. The weather was almost ideal and I finished in 1:02:29 which wasn’t too bad at all🙂
That put me so close to getting to 300 miles towards my LEJOG challenge that I couldn’t leave it there😊 I went back out in the afternoon and ran another 6km.
That left me within a (not)Parkrun of 300 LEJOG miles so I did that this morning!🏃♂️ I completed it in 28:39 so I’m pleased with how things are going😊
Happy running everyone!

Hi Dexy5 it’s the running version of Movember, raising awareness of men’s health. The website is mo-running.com and explains what it’s all about🙂 The running shirt is great, but sadly it doesn’t come across too well in the photos!🙁
Excellent cause David. We’re doing the poppy run this month but I will fundraise for Men’s health in the vitality 10000 next year as my brother-in-law was
Diagnosed with prostate-cancer this year and my brother, cancer of the bladder . These charities haven’t done so well compared to some so they need all the support they can get.
You probably haven’t received you vitality T-shirt yet but it is really nice.
Thanks Dexy5, I’ve seen photos of the Vitality shirt and medal so looking forward to getting mine!
I’m doing a virtual Poppy Run later this month too🙂👍
I’m in the ballot for the London Landmarks Half Marathon for next year. I’ll probably do that for bowel cancer as I suffered from that in my 20s (many years ago!) If I don’t get through the LLHM ballot I’m sure I can find another event. 🏃♂️🏃♀️🏃♀️🏃♂️
I’m aiming to do lots of fundraising events anyway next year to help charities recover 😀
Thanks Dexy, I haven’t set one up this year as I promised friends and family I wouldn’t be tapping them all year for sponsorship. Next year will be entirely different (I hope🤞)
Busy weekend there DavidG! I love the causes you’re running for; I’m joining Dexy and UTS for a Poppy Run this week - they’re doing 10k and I’m doing 5k so we should be able to start and finish at more or less the same time!!
