Week 3 run 1 with friend recovering from a cold and me recovering from a flu jab, I’d hate to put anyone off because i think it’s important as many people are vaccinated against flu but that’s not been fun at all.
We really enjoyed that, the 90 seconds felt good and afterwards my friend said she enjoyed the longer running parts 3 minutes was easily doable, we walked round the golf course for the cool down walk and home again 😀
Roll on tuesday, the baby swans are growing up
Happy running all

It's nice to have someone running with you, I like that photograph, it does vary from person to person regarding flu jabs, I have not had any problems with them or the Covid-19 jab either, although around about late October I will be getting the flu jab in one arm and my third Covid 19 vaccination in the other, that's something to look (not) forward to 😢
That’ll be fun Al, last year I got flu in one arm and pneumonia in the other at same time and apart from some very slight soreness in the flu arm was fine, this year has been a huge challenge and i’ve dragged myself round work at half speed since tuesday but well worth having it
Well done Sola. Have you hit "Local Legend" status again? I wouldn't be surprised 😊
Well done sola and glad your feeling better after your jags and your run with your friend and Willow Lovely photo of swan, must check our pond near us and see if any cygnets, plenty ducklings .
That's very early that you got your flu jab! Here we only get it around mid November. I take it already for ages every year again. Threw in a couple of pneumonia jabs last year too. And this year 3 covid jabs. I wonder if I could get a card like take 10 jabs and get 1 for free 😂
Every body is different so don’t worry you may be ok, glad you had yours, so far I’m the only one who reacted badly and loads of staff and the people who live here have had theirs
Well done getting yourself out there, it makes such a difference having to be accountable to someone in real life, and it makes it so much more enjoyable when you're not quite up to the mark.
