Well, thatβs almost it - one last run to go on our mother-daughter running journey. What an amazing few weeks it has been on Dabby-dotβs C25K. I have to admit to having really enjoyed running it all again, just for the sake of it and in such good company.
We took another new route for today but still out onto the heathland commons and woodland trails we love. I shall have to plan something different for the big day, or perhaps leave it up to Dabby-dot to choose whether we turn left or rightβ¦β¦ π
I know the feeling two of mine were home over the holidays, one's just gone back (for the second time this term lol, he came for a quick visit over the weekend), the other is thinking of moving out for good to pursue his career somewhere a bit livelier. Don't see the eldest much, he has a great career and a lovely fiancee. I tell myself it's like teaching them to ride a bike when they're little, you know you've succeeded when you see them heading off into the distance as fast as they can go....
That's fantastic, and it's great you have some lovely routes to choose from !Good luck to Daby on her graduation run (Not that she needs luck!) ππββοΈ
It only seems a couple of weeks ago that you posted that first mother daughter run, how time flies. Good luck to Dabby D for her graduation run although I'm sure she won't need it. Have fun both of you Xπ
Iβm going to miss those mother-daughter run updates! So I can only imagine the mixed feelings for you both! But it sounds like itβs a great setup for future opportunities to connect on mother-daughter runs!
