Finished my first September objective of running 5 x 5K in 7 days! It actually went a lot better than I had thought - I might even go as far as saying I enjoyed it!

Due to a wedding I forgot about at the start of the week I had to run on days 1, 2 and 3 - rest days 4 and 5 and run days 6 and 7. My fastest 5k was day 3 (surprisingly) at 31min and my slowest was day 2 at 33min.

I was worried about strains and pulls but lots of stretching helped - before a few of the runs I thought I had no energy but once I had started, it felt really good.

I think I will start regularly running 5x a week - maybe not always 5k but the frequency really seems to work for me.

I've gradually worked myself up to 5 times per week. Shorter runs in the week. Parkrun on Saturday and long run on Sunday. Some weeks I'll do only four runs.

Brilliant effort, I was wondering how it went. Glad you feel it went well enough to repeat. Happy running 🤗
