I have completed LEJOG4 in 17 weeks and 6 days in position 82.
874 miles ran and walked with Buddy.
I've loved every minute of this challenge and I'm sure it was just what I needed.
So I'm virtually hugging RunaroundSue right now as we reached John O Groats today and I want to thank her for telling us about the challenge and her weekly post. Can you tell I'm just a bit emotional right now and I will admit I had a tear in my eye at the end of my run today. Just imagining actually running and reaching that finish line.
Happy running all πββοΈπββοΈπππ₯³π₯³

Congratulations to you Buddy34 on completing Lejog in only 4 months, that is an amazing achievement, all those runs and walks, the walks with Buddy your dog have made for you 2020 a wonderful year, now go and celebrate your wonderful achievement ππΎ.
I am so glad that I got the problem of getting no replies or any emails from Healthunlocked fixed, I think it was a fault somewhere in their system which affected some users of this site, among other things I am glad it was fixed last night, otherwise I couldn't have congratulated you or RunaroundSue on this forum on completing Lejog.
I'm good thanks, all things considered. Achiles is still up and down, its been over a year now, but still trying different things to try to resolve enough to run again. Have a fab Christmas and Hogmanay whilst staying safe π
Thatβs awesome!! Youβre amazing. Iβm just over 300 miles on the same challenge in the same cohort. To finish in the top 100 is a great achievement x

Iβm just over the Scottish border, and tomorrow Iβll reach 500 miles (got to resist singing!) Still a way to go, but Iβm loving it! π₯°
Fantastic! Well done you. π₯³ππJust counting my runs I've been falling behind since I had to self isolate. Even a half marathon didn't help me catch up. π₯΄
What a fantastic achievement, I think even more so during a year where physically travelling that distance across Scotland has been against the law. Definitely a challenge to look back on and celebrate. Happy running π€
That's fantastic Buddy34, absolutely amazing. Just over 4 months to cover that distance is just brilliant, well done to both you and Buddy ππββοΈπππ₯π ππ
