So its time I made a serious attempt at shifting some lard and I was looking at Joe Wicks' Lean in 15 books. I wondered if anyone else has tried this? My dilemma is how to combine his HIIT workouts with running as I am building up distance again and don't want to jeopardise that.
His plan is based around 4 workouts per week with only eating carbs on workout days. Any advice gratefully received.

I’m not familiar with his books but could you perhaps take bits from his workouts to build into your running schedule? If the four work-outs don't include running then that is a lot and, as you rightly say, you don't want to jeopardise your distance goal.
Could you do two workouts to begin with and see how you get on?
Also, did you know there is a HU Weight-Loss community here?
I think you are right that 4 workouts would be too much along with running. It woukd mean no rest days! So I might try your suggestion of 2 HIIT sessions and if i make one run interval training then that might do the trick? Will check out the weight loss site - ta.
Sounds like a good plan. You don't want to feel exhausted all the time. His workouts are also probably geared for non-runners and people who do no other exercise, so you should take that into account too.
