Morning Runners!! π€©π€©
Today was Day 3 of my 10k Garmin plan and a repeat of the last cadence and acceleration-glider drills.
I know why they call them βdrillsβ. Garmin can be a right Sergeant Major (itβs my new name for him ....when heβs not looking π€«). Every so often he just checks in to tell me to π£ βmove!β and I get up and dance, jump, pace up and down until he gives me the all βclearβ! π Better not try that when Iβm in company! π
It used to make me jump a little, but now I kind of look forward to it! π Iβm ready for yah βSergeant Major Garminβ!! π Itβs worth it. I have met my step count goals for the past two days now! π I didnβt create the goal mind! He gave it to me. π€¨...π€...π€!
I decided to add a little HIIT into my daily morning routine. The HIIT is only 5 minutes, so very doable. Thereβs nothing more encouraging to get you outdoors for a cool down π. It doubles as the warm up walk on run days too π€.
Today my coach Jeff and I were in flow π€ππ! I was able to get easy instructions to follow ππ€©. No frantic button pressing dilemmas. I did so well with the buttons that heβs given me the day off tomorrow! π€£ Thanks Jeff! π
So thatβs me all up to date and moving on up to JOG, slow π, but sure β ! Iβd rather Sergeant Major Garmin than The Gremlins!
Happy running Runners!β€οΈ
