To be honest, I just wanted to get this one over with. Throughout I was worried about not being able to finish. Every time I thought about it, however, I realised that I wasn't sucking air particularly hard, nor were my muscles sore. I guess I just wasn't that into it. I did run an extra minute through a quirk of the Runkeeper lapp's announcement feature. I've set it to report times every five minutes which don't coincide with the Bridge-to-10K 10-1 run-walk intervals. So at the end when the 1 minute walk was announced, I kept going for 11 minutes. Not too bad for not wanting to do it at all at the start. All in all, I'm just glad it's over and I can look to the next one on Wednesday.

We'll done for getting started - that is so often the worst part. I'm intrigued by the squiggly route on the left of your picture - is that a very steep hill? 😯

Well done…here’s hoping that your next run is more enjoyable! Trust in the progress and maybe find a positive mantra - it can really help sometimes! Good luck.🙂
