Welcome to the bridge !Many here use Ju ju's magic plan to reach 10k .

But please remember the consolidation after completing c25k 👍

Hi chasinghens , as Instructor57 says, you should definitely consolidate before going on to a 10k plan. The Magic Plan, while not an app, is excellent.

Re measuring distance, I use the free version of Strava. Others use Runkeeper, I've not tried that. I also have my Garmin watch, though I managed absolutely fine without it for my first year of running and more!

I use the free version of Sportractive on my Android phone. It's simple to use and will connect to a heart rate sensors and social network thingummies... I recommend it!

I recommend Nike Run Club. Very simple and to the point app.

NRC is brilliant. I use it all the time just for the guided runs. Strava is my go to app for tracking distance but I'd also recommend MapMyRun.

Congratulations on your achievement! I've tried 4 different free apps (Android) for recording route, distance etc. Pacer, MapMyFitness, Wahoo and finally Runkeeper. Each app has slightly different features and records slightly different distances.

I still use Pacer for all different types of exercise, step count and keeping a very intermittent note of my weight, partly because I used it for all that before I began C25K and because I like to see the trends over the last year, month and week.

I use Runkeeper just for running though. It has the most accurate distance compared to mapping apps and if elevation is important it was the only app with an elevation record that makes any sense. It also has an option to give you audio cues every X km or Y minutes which I use a lot for running a specific distance and for Jeffing.

Have a great time doing your 5 to 10k!
