As I look forward to continuing my development as a runner, from the end of August the plan is to get stuck into B210k program, but I've looked through the app store and I can't find the app.
Any help with locating the right one would be much appreciated - I'm on Android.
Thanks
Julian

Hey mate - there isn’t a b210k app per se, at least not the one that is referred to here that everyone (mostly) seems to follow. Ju Ju’s plan is one of 3 weekly distances over a number of weeks.
There are a couple of 10K training apps, but they all have their own way of getting there. Zen labs do one that takes you back to intervals then builds up the running time with 1 min walking intervals. JuJu’s is a DIY one.
Hope you found what you were looking for Julian. You are pretty much on your own out there tho. If you can keep up you're fine. If you can't you just get ignored or worse...
??! Well, I don't think that's true... This whole forum is made of lovely people who are here to support and advise and cheerlead and commiserate and celebrate, as applicable! You don't have to follow a plan, but there's one available here if you'd like to (Ju-Ju's 10 is the magic number plan, with added motivational videos 😀). There are some 5-10k apps available in the app store too, but most people seem to enjoy Ju-Ju's plan. It's a freestyle zone, and that's what makes it work. All are welcome! 👋
Don't get me wrong. I had a complete blast on C25K. Chipper, enthused, posted a fair amount. But my experience on B210K has been different and probably clouded by weeks on the IC. Julia does an astonishing job ju-ju- . I don't know where she gets the energy from, bless her.
But there are fewer people kicking around on here and some big egos. The overwhelming majority of folk have been, as you say, supportive, lovely, kind and generous with advice and hugs. That's brilliant.
But I can live without the tiny minority who use every post as an ego trip ("I know you posted about x, but let me tell you just how fantastic i am so you feel worse....") or from an inability to write or a lack of Emotional Intelligence just come over as insulting or patronising.
It's a small number, of course, and inevitable since all human life is here. And there's no weaponry against that. But it does colour my perception atm. Perception made worse by the IC of course.
Just my perception, that's all. As valid or not as anyone else's. Life on the IC is hard enough without wasting additional emotional energy and playing ego games.
Ultimately we get out there and run by ourselves and for ourselves.
Blimey. That sounds desperately glass half empty. One day the glass will be fuller I guess. But sometimes being surrounded by people telling you your glass is broken and/or their glass is shiny and full doesn't feel great... 😁
Don't worry Sall, let me get to the end of August, should have finished my consolidation runs by then, and I'll join you more often on the B210K chat. Hopefully a friendly voice to talk to and we'll get over that 10k line together, no egos, just a desire to get fitter and enjoy running.
I’m still here, Stephen, and only finishing week 2 now. Don’t worry, we’ll get you off that blasted IC and fixed up nice and shiny again at some point. I’ve zero ego or race plans, so if you want I’ll come and restart Juju’s programme with you when you’re ready for it! (Just wait for me on those speed intervals!) Sending hugs xxx❤️❤️❤️
