I have never run without an app running in the background to my music, is there anything I could use for my consolidation runs in the next couple of months .

Last time I just used the voice prompts in Strava, set to announce every half kilometre, as a surrogate Laura. Worked fine with my iTunes music.

Many thanks, can you do that with the Free Strava or do you need the premium version for that function

It’s free, I don’t have the premium version.

I continued the Jo Whiley app for a couple of runs until I let her go to find newbies. Then I downloaded Strava and used that with my running playlist. It announces how you are doing every 500m and you can look at your stats afterwards if you save the activity after stopping it at the end of your run. Be warned though - Strava doesn’t always do what you want it to do. Enjoy your running

The C25k+ podcasts are good.

As with Ripcurlrana71, I've been using the C25K+ podcasts. They are excellent. They give you more advice on running techniques, they give you pace and rhythm, and I've noticed they have helped me build up stamina and general strength.

Before using the 5K+, to consolidate I used the W9 runs a few times.

Whatever you do, enjoy! 🌻

Many thanks, I think I’m going to rerun week 9 for at least the next 2 weeks 👍
