I have completed c25k but I'm probably a bit daft but how or which is the best app to use thanks
Which app: I have completed c25k but I'm... - Bridge to 10K
Which app
See my reply to you on your c25k post about the treadmill disaster.
Here is the Sammi link

Please just do one of these a week and only after you have cosolidated your 30 min run two/three times a week for a few weeks.
Hey! I used none, tbh. I first practised 5K until I felt comfortable, then built up stamina by starting interval/tempo runs and then simply started to increase my weekly km total by 10% during the third run. For example, if you run 3 x 5km this week, one of the next week runs will be 6.5km, the week later the same run will hit 8.15km, and before you know it, you hit 10km.
In order to calculate my interval/tempo times I used Training Pace Calculator posted by IannodaTruffe

It's easier than most of us thought
Enjoy!
Ju-ju has worked out a 10k program you can find it in the pinned posts on this site. It involves 3 different length runs a week for 6 weeks...BUT you should consolidate first.x
Hi Frostycat - nice to see you on the B210K forum! I'm also happy to see a link to the Sammi podcasts (thanks JNR) - I hadn't found them. I'm sticking with C25K week 9 for a couple of weeks then will give this a try.
You have had the advice.. consolidate those runs first and try the C25K + podcasts too...10 K needs work
I will , will look at podcasts but will be doing wk 9 for a good few weeks yet as I want to get to 5 k first xx
The podcasts may actually help with that... Stamina particularly is good
( My favourite actually )
Thank you found it and downloaded xx
Go you... Stepping Stones is the first, then the others.. I did each on three times..over three weeks...( had to see how they affected my running..) Stepping Stones, I found weird.. ( Like Marmite.. you either love it... )
Speed. is great.. when you are a bit further on... you can use it to help with your pace,( Many of us use it on its own or within a longer run... or if you are short of time Stamina is great.. on its own or again, within a longer run.. I often use it like that
Thing is..just build up over a couple of weeks.. try Intervals or Strides ..walk/runs. long ans short.. and those 30 minute runs too... there is so much fun to be had.. all helping to build up all you need for running..
Hi guys.
I also graduated a few weeks ago and have been repeating wk9 r3 for the last 3 weeks.
So far I have increased my distance, and my breathing (which is something I wanted to work on) , has improved immensely.
I'm also going to stick with the 5k for a while then try the podcasts. I'm not planning to tackle 10k until next year.
I think my 57 year old legs & lungs need to get used to the fact that they have recently become a runner before taking on a bigger challenge!🏃👵🏼🏃👵🏼🏃👵🏼
Congratulations on graduation !!! That's what I'm aiming for as well would love to do the full 5 k in the 30 mins first then set another challenge xx
Our wise mentors keep saying that slow is the way to go & I'm doing just that - I'm in no hurry !
I'm just so pleased I can keep going & the big surprise of all is how much I enjoy it!
Happy Running!🏃♀️
Me too! Can't wait to run tomorrow!
(I'm starting to think I must have been taken over by aliens or something as I enjoy it so much!!!)
