First outside run for 17 days

Well I decided last night that as the hot weather had gone (for the time being🤞) and that my hip was nicely rested I would go for short slow run this morning.

Got up early faffed around but got out before 8 am. There was lovely nice cool breeze but fairly mild. Did my usual short run to the farm and back about 21/2 k. Felt so so good to be back outside. Will try again on Sunday —maybe try a bit further but will stay on the flat for now. 🤞hip is happy this evening. Happy running 🏃‍♀️ Everyone 🏃‍♀️🏃‍♀️🏃‍♀️☀️

I always think that first run back after a break is always a mixture of trepidation and excitement, but it sounds as if yours has gone really well 🙂

Yes I must admit that I’ve been a bit lost about to get running outside again but I’m going to take it slowly 🤞hip will stay happy 😃
