1st run away from home for 10 months

I love running on holiday, unfortunately holidays haven’t been happening for obvious reasons. Now a night away, albeit close to home, is a holiday in my book. Hubby and I packed the car with tent, bikes, walking and running gear - all the essentials for the best mini break ever. Only flaw, we hadn’t booked a camp site and the tent we chose for this trip was too big for wild camping. However that didn’t stop a brilliant hilly 30km cycle exploring new routes on our new bikes. Afternoon coffee stop turned out to have rooms to let - sorted. Nothing for it but to stay over so we could run a 7k round the nearby reservoir this morning - beautiful even in 14deg heat - I prefer 4 def 😂. Off for a short 9k cycle beside another reservoir then home. Mini break completed, 21 deg out now phew. Happy running everyone 🤗
