Yesterday evening I ran my second timed 28 minute run πͺπͺπͺ. My Fitbit behaved itself and I wore my new AirPods, (OMG what a difference in sound quality and great not to have the long wire!!) so no tech drama/issues!!!
I felt I paced myself so much better this run, βοΈβοΈβοΈ although I must say I did find this run harder than the previous run, definitely prefer morning runs regarding better energy levels!!!
I ran up to Wandsworth Common π³π²π³π²my favourite route at the moment!! β€οΈβ€οΈβ€οΈβ€οΈβ€οΈIt was such a beautiful evening and there were lots of runners / people about on the common enjoying the lovely weather, I thought how nice it was to see people looking happy, and there was a sense of some normality and happier days βοΈβοΈβοΈβοΈβοΈβοΈβοΈβοΈβοΈβοΈβοΈβοΈβοΈβοΈβοΈππ¦ππ¦ππ¦ππ¦ππ¦ππ¦ππ¦ππ¦ππ¦π
I ran 4.98km and my splits were;
5:51
5:35
5:36
5:32
5:35
Although my splits are not negative, whilst I was running it felt so much better pace πππ
I am so looking forward to my next run on Saturday and completing week 8 π¦ππ¦π
Wishing you all a lovely day filled with all the happiness that running brings.
Thatβs fantastic, Rebecca! Itβs wonderful to see your confidence and stamina returning. And wow! Your pace! You truly are inspirational, well done ππππββοΈπββοΈπββοΈπ
Well done Rebecca. I bought some AirPods last year and they are fantastic. I was forever unravelling my ear plug wires prior to getting them or catching them on a handle and ruining them.They charge really quickly too. I listen to lots of podcasts so they get used on a daily basis π.
Itβs fab you have nearly finished C25K lovely lady!
I started R1 today π, felt so good to be running again!!!
