Out the door at 5:15 this morning in running shorts and long sleeved top unlike a certain Mr Couchphoenix !!!
Was still very dark, felt a bit aware of that and think I will invest in a chest torch. I stuck to the main roads and headed up to Clapham Common. Although I did feel tired getting out of bed this morning I was so excited to start week 5. I was so delighted to feel really strong this morning and increase my pace a bit, at the end of the run I thought how comfortable that had felt. I ended up running just before Battersea Rise then headed back home to get ready for work and have breakfast. I definitely have that wonderful early morning feeling which feels so amazing. Canβt wait for Sunday now and increasing my runs to 8 minutes which will make me so much happier than a chocolate Easter π° π°π°π°π°π°π°!!
Just on my lunch break in the garden, such a beautiful day.
Happy running everyone x

Yikes Rebecca errrrrr 5.15 holy-moley that's definitely a case of the early bird π you're definitely back and running brilliantly β
Doubly impressive ππ I'd planned a run, but time ran away, got to bed bit later than anticipated π€·, and then before I knew it it was jab time at 9.30 π, so today I guess for all the right reasons the trainers get a day off, and soon it'll be ππΌπ₯π that time of day again............. But it's sunny so π₯° all's good x
Yooz welcome Rebecca π€ π, same Dr funnily enough who did my flu jab, he said he's never injected so many people........ Every shift seems to be at the end of a syringe π another NHS hero πͺ.
Lol it felt like that a bit when I got out of bed was thinking of my coffee afterwards. Haha I think it was far too cold for shorts actually but sticking with them as feel better liberated wearing them now!
Oh gosh yes not long now!
Thank you back to work now only get 30 minutes as on an early.
Blimey, 5.15 π΄ well done you πππ and really happy your still finding the runs so comfortable, and i know that feeling post run βΊβΊβΊ must make things a bit easier for work! The π is out here too, well done Rebecca! π°π°π°
Thank you so much Peter, yes so nice to have running it really does make me feel so happy, I really missed it. Thank you for your support I hope you enjoy your next run
I normally run before work it's about 5am, it's quiet and not many people to dodge it's a great set up for the day, I don't think that I'd be motivated to run after work. I sometimes don't want to get out of bed but glad that I did. Glad to hear that you are recovering and keep up the good work.π
Wow that is early!! I feel the same, amazing how it increases your energy levels. Thank you so much. Enjoy your next early morning run ππ»ββοΈ
You now are doing very well indeed, early bird, it will soon get delight at that time again after the clocks were put forward, excellent run again for you Rebecca. Clapham Common has the largest and oldest bandstand in London and several ponds as well.
I am having a lovely day on a very sunny day with no clouds in the sky where I live in Central Scotland, this morning I ran my 42nd (not) parkrun in a time of 37.10, I am not sure if you have ever ran at a parkrun?
Well done, Rebecca; you certainly seem to like these early morning runs! 5,15, oh wow! I like running that early at the height of summer, though. A chest torch is a good idea and I much prefer mine to a head torch.
You really are progressing through the weeks! πππππββοΈπββοΈπββοΈπββοΈππ
