I have just received the biggest shock of my life 😳😳😳 As well as the HU Spring Virtual 10k, I entered the Nice Work one, just because I’m a sucker for a shiny medal. The results have just been emailed out and I came first in the FVet55 category. I am so ridiculously excited you can’t imagine 😝 I am literally jumping up and down and Mr S is quite convinced I’ve finally gone totally loopy!

Well done you! I only received the 5k results and was amused to see that the winners speeds got faster as the age categories got older. Clearly the oldies are fitter or have more time to train.

There were pretty much only oldies in the 10k 😂😂 The winner was though a Senior Female (beat the men!) in 43 minutes 😳

Hi 58soon ! I did it in 1.06.02, which isn’t even a PB and with a horrendous headwind on the way back, so it was even more surprising. 🤫 don’t tell anybody, but there were only 7 of us in our age category 😂
